In February 2023, trans teenager Brianna Ghey was murdered near her home in Warrington, UK.

Over the following days, vigils were organised in cities across the UK for people - particularly those from the trans community - to mourn and come to terms with another attack on the trans community.

In London, a vigil was held in Soho Square at the heart of the city’s LGBTQ+ community and thousands turned out to pay their respects, listen to speeches, and to peacefully make their upset and anger known.
